final smallbook
I filled up this small sketchbook, which by the way is a moleskine. Now I've got a watercolor paper one!

Crayons!
Up here in the lakey woods, my media is limited. As I said, I only brought my oils, watercolors, pens, and pencils. But then I bought another bunch of media: Crayola crayons!
Some may think of them as kid stuff, but you can get great richness of texture and tremendous variety of color. I'm making a huge color mixing chart.
Here it is when I did the bottom layers, using not-full pressure to get grainy color.
Here's my progress in the top layers, applying color with strong pressure to blend with the bottom layer. All the colors!!!
