Oh! So pretty! Heh. I just discovered the difference in transparent and opaque watercolors.... let's just say that is going to help me A LOT. :P I was so lost as to how on earth one got that "glowing translucent colorfulness" of watercolors, such as in your paintings... Oh me. The joys of being self-taught. I suppose the fact that I know now that most my watercolors are opaque will help me. Time to get some new transparent watercolors! :P
Mary, That's why I don't use watercolors at all; it's ink! Almost always very transparent and always completely liquid: it's easier for me to manage the water ratio that way. Though, watercolor can achieve different things with texture, so I should try it again sometime.
Ink! I love ink! But so far I have mostly used black... I will have to look into this! Cause I have fought and fought and fought with watercolors. And fought and fought and fought. And fought. So, thanks!

Thank you both!
