First Robin of Spring

A watercolor of Robin to go with my fancomic Batman: Decadence, and to celebrate that it finally seems to be Spring here.

Review and preview

Image from Counting Gifts of Grace

Mary over at Counting Gifts of Grace has her review of her sample month of coloring pages here!
She brings up a good point: verbiage about the saints, at least an explanation of what's going in the pictures, would be handy. I have actually started writing such a thing; I call it the Companion to the Liturgical Calendar Coloring Book. I'd like to know, would folks be interested in that? I'd have it available as a pdf through email, like the coloring book, for about five bucks.

Secondly, it is my aim to have a chapter of my fancomic Batman: Decadence ready each month on the 25th, and if it's not ready by then, I post a little preview of one of the pages. I think this month's preview is quite pretty, so here it is.

An offer of about twenty-one free coloring pages

Our Lady of Victory page from the Liturgical Calendar Coloring Book

Calling everyone who has a blog! Especially Catholic parents and teachers and those with Catholic parents and teachers in their blog audience! I've made a coloring book with a page for every single saint's day in the liturgical year. And I think there are a lot more people who would like it than know about it, so I want to get the word out about it more. So, I will send a free month's worth of pages to anyone who will promise to blog about their honest opinion of it and include a link to this page where it can be purchased.

You can choose any month you wish; they average around twenty-one pages. Comment on this post with your email address or email me at snowflakeclockwork[at]gmail[dot]com if you're interested.

Character designs for a new little project

Characters designs for Mercy Graves, Lex Luthor, Jimmy Olsen, Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, and Martha Kent for a fun silly little side project I want to do in my own time (of which there is very little.)

Easter Monday

Happy Easter! We attempted to make pysanky back on Palm Sunday. The ones in the front middle, front right, and back left were made by me, (the back left one last year; I think I've gotten a bit better...) the front left and back right by Anna.

This is what it looks like outside now:

Bah. And so it's decided (more because of liturgy than weather, but yeah) we will take a trip back to Texas for next year's Triduum.
