I usually avoid posting the most impressive panels because they spoil climactic moments in the story, but this has been fairly clear as it approached, and it is a panel I've been planning for years and I wanted to show it off.
It's funny what could be controversial with different audiences. When I first started Paper Doll Veronika, I was concerned about opposition from my Deviantart-derived audience to the overt Christianity. Now I don't expect that from my current audience, but I did wonder if any flat-earthers among them might object to this segment. Paper Doll Veronika actually will include the shape of the earth in its mythology/cosmology, which might be described as Tolkienian. In real life, my main objection to flat-earth theory is to the implied premise that the Bible is not allowed to use any figures of speech.
