What I'm doing on my Summer--Comicpalooza

Okay, for a bit now, this blog is going to turn from an art blog into a things-that-happen-to-me blog! (interspersed with art.)

Right before we left Texas, my sisters and I attended Comicpalooza. It was great! The main reason we went was to see...

 

Frazer Hines!!! He played Jamie McCrimmon in Doctor Who!!! Oh my gosh I could not believe it. We made fools of ourselves and he was lovely: friendly, hilarious, and we got to talk to him several times and he gave us free buttons and even hugs!!! Pardon this fangirl while she faints.

We also bought comics, buttons, t-shirts, a cute Oddish-in-a-flowerpot-plushie, and prints from awesome artists! And there were loads of great cosplayers:

I hope we go again next year; maybe we'll cosplay then too!
