It's Fall!
One of the first of the colorful leaves.
A wasps' nest. I think it was abandoned, but wasn't going to get close enough to find out.
Another garter snake. I've seen more this year than my whole life before.
These were all taken in digital with a Fujifilm Finepix s1000.

These are so good--it makes it very hard to be down here. Oddly enough, the first one with berries is my favorite, because of the lighting.
I think it would be even more odd if your favorite was the one with the snake!
