I'm practicing masculine facial features by drawing ink portraits of twelve real men I find handsome and were certainly masculine.
This one is Warren William, actor, inventor, WWI vet.
I've written about his films for the newspaper of the town where he was born. The open-mouth smile and direct sunlight made it difficult, and it didn't turn out perfect by any means. But it's all for learning, which I continue to do! Here's the sketch, which maybe looks better:
