The current Paper Doll Veronika chapter is a crucial segment, and the setting is inspired by, and even made up of, some very awe-striking things.
The approach to the chapel was inspired by this piece of promotional art from The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past:
I think this is one of the best value-based compositions I've ever seen. It is my ambition to do a version of it as an oil painting.
The back wall of the chapel itself is made of a photograph I took of the ruins of Saint Brecan's church on Inishmore of the Aran Islands in Ireland:
And by Saint Brecan's church I do not mean it's merely named in his patronage; it is one he built and pastored.
