This article at Men of the West has very solid stuff to say about stories overall and Bovodar and the Bears for one.
It is so refreshing to come upon a story these days that doesn't heap scorn on the ideas of family, tradition, rightful authority, and inheritance, or somehow subvert these ideas to serve feminism and/or globalism. When I read Bovodar and the Bears, I begged Jack Mikkelson to let me be the artist for a graphic novel adaptation. And now, it is on the way! While the novel is available already, and soon it will have a new cover!
